Dear Reader,
Hello, My name is Rachel Fitzpatrick a Romanian born artist based in the heart of Salt Lake City. I have been enjoying the art of photography for over 6 years now. My photography is rooted in cinematic storytelling, dreamy locations with some editorial flare. An expert in gentle posing guidance and unhurried sessions. I love images that I can create to look like paintings as you hang them around your home.
When I am not booking a session or photographing lovely people, my other hobbies may include but are not limited to, playing my 100 year old baby grand piano, browsing antique stores, drinking a glass of wine while reading a spicy fantasy novel, reading cooking magazines, taking strolls through the neighborhood and spending time with my family. I love nature and poetry. I love old odd things. Oh and fairies, you have to believe in fairies.

Whats Different?
Unhurried Sessions
I don’t believe in rushing through a session. I don’t like holding my shutter down just to take 100 photos of the same shot. What I would rather do is work with clients that enjoy a non-hurried atmosphere. A location thats so dreamy we take our time. Play with the child that may be shy or nervous. Take moments to get to know you and hear stories about your life. The unhurried sessions are ones to remember.
Using the Elements
Location is so important when it comes to my sessions. If you are not sure where to take your photos Utah is known for its vast variety of landscapes. Whether you want a reservoir, a lake with mountain backgrounds and a dreamy green meadow. We could even do an urban downtown experience. Lets explore the Sand Dunes or a secret hidden river spot. I think when using nature it is more beautiful when unchanged. Lets let the sun and moon be our light. I’ll be your personal forest nymph and bring you to the most magical spots around.
Experience Matters
As much as your experience matters your photographer should have experience as well. I have been taking photos for 6 + years. Constantly learning and evolving. I will create art out of moments you might not have noticed or see the tiny details or little distractions that you won’t. My job is to create a completely new experience for you and give you a physical moment you will have forever and that MATTERS.
